SAIL to explore Indonesia's mineral wealth
The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Inonesian government for development of mineral deposits and setting of a steel plant. The MoU was signed by the SAIL Chairman, Mr.C.S.Verma, and the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, Mr.Agustin Teras Narang. As per the MoU, a mineral processing facility and required infrastructure in the province of Central Kalimantan will set up.
